Solid oak floating shelves. Are handcrafted from the finest quality kiln dried European oak timber. Chose 6″or 8″ deep in a substantial 30-35mm thick. Suitable for plasterboard walls only. We use only the finest wax polish’s and oils ensuring a top notch finish every time. We have provided the ultimate hardware solution for fitting floating shelves into plasterboard walls. Each shelf is supplied with strong and adjustable concealed floating shelf supports manufactured by Hafele, along with the innovative Gripit. The back of the shelves come pre-drilled with a relief that slots neatly over the fixing flush with your wall. Each shelf comes with fitting instructions. We aim to manufacture our solid oak floating shelves to the highest possible standard. Some shelves will be manufactured from two or more boards to create the required depth. This does not detract from the overall quality and results in further stability. What you need to know! We use kiln dried ensuring stability once in your home. High quality concealed shelf supports are included with fitting instructions. We’re experts when it comes to oak! I have personally designed and made this item. I offer a bespoke service if the size you are looking for is not in the drop down box. These beautiful mantels / floating shelves are solid wood and very heavy duty. The hidden round solid 6mm steel fixing plate is already rebated into the back, ready to fit to the wall. I supply all the fixings you need for your convenience and to make the fitting process very simple. These beautiful mantels / floating shelves come in 12 different colours, 6 different lengths and in medium or large. The medium is 5.5 inches high and the large is 7.5 inches high. Both the medium, and the large protrude from the wall 6 inches. A perfect depth for displaying your items. The main part of the medium mantel is 4 inch x 4 inch and the large mantels main part is 6 inch x 4 inch, they both have a 5 inch x 1 inch and a 6 inch x 1 inch on top. Both mantels have a 1 inch overhang in each step. This item can be used as a mantel above a fire, or as a floating shelf in any room. Personally I feel they look lovely as a mantel and as a shelf in a kitchen to display cups and plates or in a lounge to show off all your personal items such as photos and trophies.
